		<description>A very good point Trish. You might be able to get a rough guide with another finger (assuming you know relative sizes) but being prepared to have it resized is a must.</description>

		<description>I&#039;d just like to point out that every finger on each hand is a different size to every other finger. So borrowing one of her rings for size won&#039;t necessarily work because she&#039;s probably wearing it on a finger other than her ring finger, so odds are the ring will be too big or too small.

But if you&#039;re really deadset on doing it this way as a surprise, make sure you borrow a ring that she usually wears on her ring or middle finger on either hand, and ask the jeweller how much it costs to resize the ring you are buying.</description>
